Peer Review SoM

Paragraphs: 43/50 pts. She had many paragraphs, but they weren't as strong as they could've been.
Quotes: 24/25 pts. It was so close to be being perfect! She had the correct amount of quotes and they were very descriptive and informative.

Inverted Pyramid: 22/25 It could have been a tad bit more in the inverted pyramid layout, but other than that little fix, it was good.

With an additional 10 points

Student of The Month Interview

This month a new kid on the block was chosen for his outstanding work this year. This kid is kind of quiet and wouldn't think it was him but he really stood out on the inside and is actions. His name is Caden Barrera, he is a freshman at James Bowie High School.
When I started to figure out this student and some of his hobbies, interests and what he took part in, it became very clear as to why he was the student of the month.
Caden is a straight A student, but he made it clear everyone makes mistakes and sometimes he does with his grades, and they aren't the best. Caden is also part of the Bowie lacrosse team. He really enjoys that in his free time. He is on the freshman team, and hopes to make the JV team, or even better the Varsity team.
Then I started to ask Caden what he thought he did to deserve this award and he started to explain how he volunteers a lot, and it's all about if you stand out to your teachers and peers. He also to make sure you volunteer a lot at your school. It doesn't have to be just at charities but around your teacher's classroom.
