Compulsive Lying

“Pathological lying (also called pseudologia fantastica and mythomania) is a behavior of habitual or compulsive lying. It was first described in the medical literature in 1891 by Anton Delbrueck.” This is google's definition of a compulsive liar. I’m going to writing all about how people feel the need to always lie. Does it make you feel good? Why do you do it? I'm going to try and comprehend this act many people do.

I have came across so many people who will be talking to me and just the stuff that comes out there mouth I can't believe they would make stuff up like that. Like how does one's brain come up with that? Its gotten to the point I am impressed. Truly, impressed. Your brain is 15 centimeters and weighs about 3 pounds. And in that all that brain you generate a “cool” story, or something that you think will make you look cool. Little do you know, it's not. It's doing the exact opposite.

In Google’s brain it told me someone lies, on average, 3 times every 10 mins. But I swear some people will be lying at least 3 times in 2 minutes. Even though half of those lies are white lies like, “Wow, Love that shirt girl!!”  Even though that's half of lies people say on the daily. Thats where it starts, and from there it just goes up. Lies just grow. You start to get better at it and you feel like it boosts your confidence and that it makes you look cool or more likeable.

When I write this I’m not saying I dont lie at all. But there is a different type of lying I am talking about. This type is so extra and not needed it really drives me crazy when people feel the need to lie that much. When people are looking me in the eye, (well sometimes, because studies show when people they have the mannerism of not making eye contact), but when people do look at me and just completely make up something, i am truly impressed. And a lot of people will ask, “well how do you know they are lying?” I'm like think about this person and what they just said. This girl is saying she was on a private jet with simone biles, but isn't it the olympics, like she's competing right now, so that doesn't even make sense.

Another way you can tell they are making up some, is when you ask for the receipts, it suddenly doesn't add up. You ask to see pictures or something that you would usually ask a person, just to be nice and listen to them, they lowkey freak out and don't want to talk about this amazing thing they did or vs verus.

The way I deal with this act is usually just act super sarcastic. That's how I deal with most things. You are going to be that extra then I will too. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed me ranting about something that bugs me more than anything. :)

HDR Photography Preview

1. You will need to adjust shutter speed and aperture as well as exposure bracketing.
2. You will need a tripod to stabilize your camera to keep it from moving, also it is recommended to have HDR blending software.3. Someone might take an HDR photo to capture creative and neat photos that aren't just a snapshot that doesn't have anything really to it. It is also capture something that is going to stay in place for a while.
4. The shadows, clouds in the dark sky, more lights and colored lights will contrast with the dark scenery.

1) In this website I read about different things you can do with iMovie. The different effects and editing skills you can use. Along with what it can do, it shows you how to use it and how you can use each effect to its full potential. 

Some of the specific things iMovie can do is like make one clip as long as you want. You can also like select a certain part of the clip and right click and there are a couple other things you can do along with the overall video layout. iMove has an infinity amount of effects you can use to edit your film, that seems very easy to use. 

2) I already knew how to move clips in the timeline. 

3) I didn't know that there is a precision editor for you to use. 

4) I am concerned that I won't finish in time or I will forget how to do something. 

5) I think I wouldn't complete it early but I could get it done. 
6) If I was asked to make a video I would make like a bunch of clips of my dog like doing tricks and then put affects and edits on the clips.

Personal Essays

Part 1
1. One of the ideas it said you could write about was Opinion pieces. Which I like I would like the most to rite about, because you can literally write anything you want to write as long as its school appropriate. 
2. In the section about opinion essays, it gave you the tip to make connections. Which is important to keep the reader interested and not bored.

Sports Portfolio Evalaution

Sam Adams
-bicycles- captured some unnecessary subjects in the photos, not close enough to the subject, subject was bland
-setting was nicely chosen, good lighting
-each photo told its own story, which made me really enjoy them all

 -Kids' and adults' unique moments. -Out of focus, same looking pictures, no story, too much cropping. -Where the eye moves throughout the picture, very journalistic. -I really like most of the pictures because they very interesting to view.

 -people in their environment - shot from a distance, same lense, same feel. - contrast of colors, the emotions -She seemed fairly decent, i liked a few but most were kinda basic. 


2. Watch the winning portfolio critique (Dustin Snipes), and post the following:
a.  good color and composition, good subject choicesb.- I agreed with the judges in that they were full of color and interesting, but some of them were still poorly taken... out of focus, bad lighting..etc.

a) The judges spent quite some time choosing their pick, and became a very tough decision which I cannot imagine with all the incredible pieces of work that was entered.1) I agree with the judges on what they were saying about the photo of a diver in the warm up pool. There were really interesting shapes being created that were pleasing to the eye, as well as being able to get a view of the whole pool.2) I disagree with the judges on what they said about the photo of the girl with the punching bag. They stated that it wasn't a very good photo, but I thought it was a pretty great photo. In fact, I loved it. I liked the angles and the colorization of the photo.
